From strategic communication plans and media kits to sponsorship proposals, content calendars, and design projects — everything here reflects my hands-on experience in PR, storytelling, and visual communication.

Mock News Conference Media Kit
As a group, we planned and executed a full mock news conference from start to finish. I took the lead on designing and producing the media kit, which included a press release, backgrounder, fact sheet, and supporting visuals. This project helped me strengthen my skills in PR writing, event planning, and brand presentation — and we received great feedback for how polished and professional our event looked and felt.

Client Marketing Audit
Shelmerdine
For this project, we conducted a full marketing audit for Shelmerdine Garden Centre. Our goal was to analyze their current marketing efforts, identify strengths and weaknesses, and offer recommendations for improvement. I worked on researching the brand’s positioning, evaluating their social media, and providing strategic insights that could help elevate their digital presence.

AITC Sponsorship Proposal
We were tasked with creating a professional sponsorship proposal for Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC). This included researching the organization, identifying potential sponsors, and writing a customized pitch that highlighted mutual benefits. I focused on crafting a clear, persuasive narrative that aligned with the brand’s values and showcased creative sponsorship opportunities.

Strategic Communication Plan
This assignment involved developing a complete strategic communication plan for a real or mock client. I created detailed audience profiles, messaging strategies, content ideas, and a proposed budget. It was a great opportunity to pull together everything I’ve learned about research, strategy, content planning, and execution — and to think through how each piece connects to bigger communication goals.
